What colour/finish options do you offer?
Painted finish is an affordable option that can offer a bold pop of color or a sleek, contemporary look.
Stained wood finish enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain, providing a classic and timeless appeal.
Specialty finishes are for those seeking something truly unique, such as distressing, glazing, dry brushing, weathering, whitewashing, layering colours or even metallics can add character and charm to any piece.
Do you provide samples?
Yes, we provide a wide variety of stain, paint, and upholstery samples for you to select from, and we also offer custom stain and paint color matching services.
How durable is the finish?
Proper surface preparation and applying multiple coats of clear sealer will ensure longevity and durability, allowing your pieces to withstand daily wear and tear while maintaining their beauty. Sealer is also responsible for providing your furniture with a desired sheen, we offer flat, satin, semi-gloss, high gloss and resin epoxy coating.
We apply typically apply 2-3 coats of sealer however for high traffic pieces for added protection we can apply additional coats for an additional fee.
How long does it take?
All projects vary depending on in size, components, repairs, and finishes. We will contact you after applying the final coat of sealer to schedule pickup, which will be ready in 3 to 5 days as it needs to dry/cure.
Painted furniture typically takes about two weeks, while stained furniture takes around three weeks.
Pickup/delivery services?
The quotes we provide do not include pickup or delivery services. However, if you require assistance, we would be pleased to arrange these services for an additional fee. Kindly ensure that you include both the pickup and drop-off addresses.
Do you refinish furniture in our home/onsite?
We refinish 95% of the furniture at our shop, which is specifically designed for this purpose. Our facility includes a spray booth, workbenches, adequate lighting, ventilation systems, and a comprehensive range of equipment and tools.
In addition, we provide onsite services for refinishing kitchen cabinet faces and built-ins, as well as offering minor furniture repair work.
Do I need to book ahead?
Yes, our shop is generally booked two to four weeks in advance. However, if you require a minor repair or a small project, or if you have a specific timeline in mind, we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule. Please note, though, that we will not compromise on quality in order to expedite any project.
What is the cost?
Quotes can be obtained via email. Kindly include photographs of the furniture, along with its measurements and your preferred refinishing details. If you desire a color match, please provide a swatch or sample of the desired finish. If you wish to replicate a finish similar to furniture seen online, we request that you email us relevant photographs.
Payment options:
All services must be prebooked and prepaid. We accept cash, debit, credit cards, and email transfers as methods of payment.
Additional costs?
If the project requires changes, additional repairs, alterations, hardware upgrades, delivery services this will be billed additionally if requested. Products such as take-home cleaners, polishes and touchup kits can be purchased additionally.
How do I schedule my services?
Upon your approval of the quote, we will schedule delivery of the furniture and a time for you to visit our shop for a color consultation. During this appointment, you will have the opportunity to select your preferred color and finish, as well as address any questions or concerns you may have. This can be done on the same day or separate.

Do you offer in home quotes or colour consultations?
Yes, if you would prefer us to come to your home, we charge a minimum fee of $85. We bring with us paint, stain and upholstery swatches for you to choose from.
